Hi all, I'm new to making music on Linux ut not new to making music and not exactly new to Linux. I'm running Ubuntu Studio 19.10. I have a Scarlett 2i2 that functions predictably with everything else I've tried; in and out so I don't think it's that. Hydrogen is set to use ALSA in it preferences.
My problem is that every time I've shut down and restarted I find that Hydrogen's audio output is silent, even though the mixer levels are jumping. If I remove the .hydrogen profile in my home directory and restart hydrogen, I can then hear what I'm doing.. This is mildly annoying. Is there something I'm missing that can sort this? It would be handy to have my last project open up when I'm restarting hydrogen.
Thanks and hello.
Why is Hydrogen silent every time I restart

Re: Why is Hydrogen silent every time I restart
Fixed by pointing Hydrogen at pulse rather than ALSA. Also seems to have generally improved stability by moving OS to 20.04 from 19.10, as one would hope.
