WineUSB for Allowing Control Software To Interact With Audio Interfaces

There is a news article over at Phoronix about Wine developers working in better USB support. Could this allow control software such as from Focusrite to interact with a Focusrite audio interfaces?

It would be interesting if other control software native to Windows could work with audio interfaces as well. I'm talking high-end audio interfaces with DSP signal processor that can only be interacted through a Windows application.
