Weird behavior in Debian Stretch with liquorix kernel: jack stops when unplug laptop charger from socket

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

Weird behavior in Debian Stretch with liquorix kernel: jack stops when unplug laptop charger from socket

Post by bartok »

The error given by jack (jack2) log is:

Wed Dec 7 06:36:27 2016: ERROR: ALSA: prepare error for playback on "hw:PCH" (No such device)
Wed Dec 7 06:36:27 2016: ERROR: JackAudioDriver::ProcessAsync: read error, stopping...

As you may guess this little bug makes the system kind of unreliable for production.

What could be a fix for it?

ps: its sort of unpredictable now. Just tried it again and it crashed the session. Now that the battery seems full it doesn't do anything when i unplug the charger from the socket (of the laptop)

Just a thought, is it something physical with your system such as loose card or cable? The errors say no such device and unplugging the charger may have jogged your machine and disturbed that.
