[SOLV]rme multiface on manjaro linux problem: hdsploader....

Hi there,

I have a rme multiface II running on a desktop with manjaro and a lot of kxstudio debs installed, all working fine, but I dont get the firmware of the soundcard loaded... with hdsploader i get this:

hdsploader - firmware loader for RME Hammerfall DSP cards
Looking for HDSP + Multiface or Digiface cards :
Card 0 : HDA NVidia at 0xfaffc000 irq 17
Card 1 : RME Hammerfall DSP + Multiface at 0xfbee0000, irq 19
Upload firmware for card hw:1
Hwdep ioctl error on card hw:1 : Device or resource busy.


and i dont really know where to start to solve this.. before i had problems with older versions of alsa-firmwareloaders etc but this looks different.. ;( any ideas?

problem persists.. i can start hdspmixer, and i can see the inputs , i can start qjackctl and connect etc. but at the end nothing arrives at the sound interface.. i guess still depending on this firmware upload thing but not sure..

I got it.. finally I had the wrong soundcard id in cadence.. ;( changing that to the right (in my case hw:1) everything worked fine again..
