Hi, after using jack i have no audio from my computer i.e youtube, rhythmbox etc.
after closing jack i tried restarting pulseaudio by typing (pulseaudio --start) in the terminal.
the answer from the terminal was 'N: [pulseaudio] main.c: User-configured server at {fc8552db1451a8f2db420c6d520e835e}unix:/run/user/yuval/pulse/native, which appears to be local. Probing deeper'
and i still have no audio.
any thoughts?

PulseAudio should come out of suspend mode as soon as you close JACK so there's no need to start it again (hence the message about Pulse being active already). Did you try restarting the programs that didn't output sound anymore?YDV wrote:Hi, after using jack i have no audio from my computer i.e youtube, rhythmbox etc.

Re: No audio after using jack 2
Logging out and back in again should work too. If not then try Alt+SysRq+K, this kills your whole user session and is somewhat of an equivalent for the terminal command killall -u username. This should also kill and restart Pulse properly since Pulse runs under the user that is logged in.
