What distros are you using?

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

I have my own distro. It's a lightweight system that has everything I need to produce music.
This is the short software list of the 64 bit version. Other apps are easily added.

aconnectgui
audacity
fluid-soundfont-gm
lmms
nted
nted-doc
soundconverter
timidity
timidity-daemon
timidity-interfaces-extra
clementine
gtick
qjackctl
vkeybd

I almost forgot jack, and jack2 on this list.

Recently I installed Fedora 19 x86_64 on my laptop, adding only the RPMfusion and Planet CCRMA repos to the listed Fedora repos. First attempt failed due to user error, 2nd try yielded a smooth running gun of a system, complete with rt kernel and accelerated 3D graphics.

I also upgraded my desktop Ubuntu 12.04. It was massive, 450+ packages to upgade, and again everything went swimmingly well. System is stable, with the KXStudio overlays, and hopefully will put an end to some random crashing apparently due to an outdated kernel.

Best,
