Where is the "pipe" (|) and others in Jedit/LilypondTool

Hi,

I'm beginning to learn Lilypond, using Jedit and LilypondTool - following in that a suggestion of by studio32. I'm pretty glad with the program(s).

Here is my question: Where is the "pipe" (|) in Jedit? The characters table is UTF-8. In other programs it is "Alt Gr + 6". It appears that other signs don't match either (# {}...).

When I need it I do copy/paste, in the meanwhile, but it is of course note the easiest way.

Thanks

I tried a lot of setting in Jedit and in LilypondTool, but I still don't get any improvement. I can't make get the "| # ~...". All work in every other program. I go on searching...

I will have a look at Lilykde. What do you prefer and why?

Lilypondtool is much futher in development, more functions etc.

But I do like the fast way lilykde works and it isn't very long on the 'market' yet, so I think it will become a great app!

I use both together...

edit:
Always try the latest version of jEdit for LilyPondTool to work! Currently jEdit 4.3pre13 is the latest with which LilyPondTool is tested.
...

Lilykde doesn't work in kde4 yet...
