How to install abc2xml and xml2abc

Folks, I want to instal this extension http://extensions.libreoffice.org/exten ... le-manager in LibreOffice, but I have to install these two dependencies:

http://wim.vree.org/svgParse/xml2abc.html
Well OK, but how am I supposed to do that? Can somebody explain me that in plain English, because I read these Readme files and my head starts to boil without understanding anything, coz it's nothing like I've installed so far with configure, make and make install commands etc.
