nted notation editor

Post by Babarosa »

Recently there are several threads about notation editors in this forum.

A rather unknown notation editor is "nted" which in my opinion is very very good!
I use it to notate my ideas and print the score for fellow musicians, it includes a mixer, step recording, exporting to midi, ...

The website itself is gone, but the software is included in many distributions, info can be obtained from a html-helpfile, the sourcecode is also still available.

Thanks for the tip! I suppose the fact that it's unmaintained is a bit sad, I hope someone forks it :D
