I'd like to put a lightweight audio player at the top of my homepage for direct play control. Any suggestions?

http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_sounds.asp

Then check the "HTML Audio - The Best Solution" paragraph.

This looks perfect! Funny I never thought to look on a site I've visited so often! :D
Thanks AutoStatic!

So the plot thickens...
I tried the <audio> and <embed> tags mentioned in the w3 website and it works, although low and behold it gives errors in W3C.

I like Mozilla, although I'd like to keep things as "browser independent" as possible just to try to make as many people happy as possible. I need to study this further..
