What's more likely.
1. You've been hacked!
2. You've done something stupid and broke your own system.

Great point. Perhaps the OP should investigate how to determine, on Linux, that their system has been hacked. In my case, seeing a terminal running and commands being entered, left no doubt that I was being hacked. It does happen, even on Linux. Actually, now that I think of it, I was on a BSD system. No matter; any system can be hacked.

If no evidence can be found that the system has been compromised, then it is indeed time to turn your attention to the possibility that you have done something to mess it up. If that cannot be found, it may be time to start fresh. And perhaps with additional safeguards in place, to mitigate against potential threats.

If you look at OP's posts on this forum you'll many posts about running windows vst and windows software.
So this could have introduced
1. a backdoor or virus or whatever (imho unlikely)
2. broken system (more likely)

I suspect the OP has visited us before under different Usernames and the issues/outcomes have followed a similar pattern previously, not a judgement... just an observation. Anything is possible of course... *shrugs
