...but sadly, the article does not mention that the OS which ran on those netbooks is Huayra GNU/Linux, based on Debian.

Edit: there is actually no proof that those musicians did not format GNU/Linux and install Windows on their netbooks. But a man can dream, right? :D

I dunno, reading again he says his school had some special software on it so it would lock if you went a certain distance so maybe he wasn't putting another OS on it or maybe they put windows on it.
