I didn't expect it, cause most stuff should be in the default kernels, but man, seems I can set JACK quite a bit tighter with getting less (almost none) xruns with the RT kernel in Debian.. Short test, seems to be a huge (unexpected) improvement.

RT kernel? I would say, recommended! (needs a bit more testing probably)

Cool! There's a lot of kernel variations around (versions, with/without preemption enabled, with/without additional RT patches, etc etc), which ones exactly did you test?

Hi everyone :-)

I need help in perl for something quite simple but I clearly don't have the level and I don't know where and how to look.
Can someone help me with this problem ? https://github.com/raboof/realtimeconfi ... /issues/39

It's basically checking if swap is on use before testing.

[edit] It has just been merged in the master branch of the project. https://github.com/raboof/realtimeconfi ... an/pull/40
Thanks everyone.
And another commit here to add verbosity : https://github.com/raboof/realtimeconfi ... an/pull/41

Please Check your system and let us know the results ! :-)
