Yes, mineral wool or glass wool. I like the cheap yellow glass wool. You could simply buy a few packs and pile them in the corners, you can even leave them in the plastic wrapping.

I will search around in forums here what people use for DIY-basstraps.

You'll find some heated discussion on which material is the best. To be honest, the difference is tiny.

Can you make a comparison measurement, with DRC on, with the mic in two different positions, say 0,5 to 1m further back?

I was planing to do that allready, also meassurments at same positions with DRC on and off. I will see if I find a way to make waterfall-plots with it on.
