[ignore] how can I ban pulseaudio from my packagemanager?

Post by Capoeira »

I'm just joking,
I acidently installed pulse (came as a dependency) yesterday.
Today my alsa-jack plugin stopped working. I seached for 3 hours for the problem, getting almost crazy, before pulseaudio came into my mind. naturaly, stopping/uninstalling this moutherf_cker solved the issue. man, why does this software suck so much?

just an outburst. ignore this

With all due respect to the PulseAudio developers and to the fact that they made GNU/Linux audio very newbie-friendly, I hope PipeWire goes gold soon and replaces both it and JACK!
