Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen - constant click noises but no xruns

So i got rid of the click by blocking snd_dice and reverting back to the ffado driver. So it must be tied up with the alsa driver. Maybe saffire pro 24 needs a patch in the quirks table?? I dunno?? I used the quirks table a few years ago to get yamaha usb interface working i assumed it was just for usb devices but then all the ffado firewire drivers have been rolled into alsa since. I might check a current kernel 5.4 and see if it got sorted yet.
