Hallo!
I' m using kxstudio since 3-4 months already. It runs ok, i can record my band's songs fine but...
As i'm greek, so, a lot of my files (songs) have greek names, or the folders i use have these greek (non-english) names too. If i try to "play" a song (open file) with audacity or any other music player, i get an error that shows that the file with the filename "...numbers,symbols,.etc " is unknown. If i drag the file in the player, it plays ok. I think it must be an encoding problem, but i cannot install any language (the corresponding KDE menu doesn't work), or i don't know how to change system encoding.. .
Any help?
Thanks

The magic of the community...
Following some instructions on the wiki you showed me, i added the following lines in the file /etc/defalult/locale:
LC_CTYPE="el_GR.UTF-8"
LC_ALL="el_GR.UTF-8"
(el_GR because of my language)
I changed the line LANG="..." to LANG="el_GR.UTF-8"
Now everything works ok.
Thanks!
