No. I just fiddled a little with tuna once. I might give it a go tho, thank you for linking this.

I checked it a few months ago. It doesn't seem to do anything useful unless you happen to have one of the 2 sample configurations with a Firewire audio interface: https://git.sleepmap.de/software/rts.gi ... g/examples
So better not waste too much time on this one (sorry to rain on the parade).
Tuna is indeed a nice front end for the various kernel tunables and should in theory provide everything we need.
In practise, I never managed to squeeze any tangible result out of it. Also it's an abandoned Red Hat project and start to feel quite rusty...

yea. I didn't even looked any deeper into it since I didn't see many use.
what looked interesting to me at first sight is that the service would only tweak the system when we choose RT-kernel in grub-menu. So we could easily switch between tweaked RT-Kernel and standard Kernel for desktop use.

In it's current state, there's probably a bigger immediate performance gain by not having that service running at all
But you could also add the tweaks in your Jack startup, which could make sense if you're switching between audio & generic configurations.
The problem is I think to find tweaks that provide actual performance benefits in a reproduceable and measurable way.
In the same category, you have also those guys: http://www.audio-linux.com/ - they have done a bit more homework apparently.
Why would you care about low latency for an audiophile setting is beyond my understanding, but there's a pkgbuild that applies their tweaks: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtapp/ (I didn't try it).
