Scarlett 2i2

Re: Scarlett 2i2
I own one too and my settings are almost the same. I would check connections or other minor issues (monitoring knob on the interface ecc); in jack I had to set duplex and select the Scarlett for both input and output otherwise it would output via my onboard card. Hope this helps

Hi,
jack only runs at 48kHz with 512 Frames and higher.
Non realtime, no memory restriction, Duplex,...
No playback, just capture.

Re: Scarlett 2i2
sorry for the delay, been busy. I think this could be a kernell issue; I suggest you to try kernel 3.5.xx and see if it gets better.

Re: Scarlett 2i2
Hi,
the error was between chair and monitor. As most of the time...
I switched on direct monitoring and turn up the big wheel... was not what I expected, instead -> feedback (Mic feed into Speaker)
I switched direct monitoring off again and turned the big wheel down...
I did not come to the conclusion, that this big wheel also adjusts the line level...
stupid me
but perhaps someone else can learn from my stupidity...
