Hi all,
in another topic, Puppy Studio related, I discovered the existence of this: anything-sync-daemon. I wonder if it could be useful to speed up audio-related applications and maybe get less xruns, or lower latency? I'm quite a noob so I'm asking you guys..
Anything sync daemon?

Re: Anything sync daemon?
you can make your audio apps load faster puting their application folder in asd.conf, BUT that won't make any diference in execution as loading them "normaly" will load them to ram anyways.
the only use of this for an audio situation I can see in the folowing situation:
It's possible that you have so many audio tracks in a song that your harddrives speed comes to a limit. you could put the recording folder in asd.conf than to solve this, but you'll need a lot of ram I guess
