The linuxDSP PEQ-2A Vintage Program EQ plugin is now available. This is a Pultec style EQ, based on measurements and data from original equipment and emulating some of the most sought-after vintage hardware. Separate Boost and Attenuate controls allow simultaneous Boost and Cut of the low frequencies, providing one of the classic Pultec sounds. A transformer-coupled valve amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities, just like the original. Free demo available here:

Includes a comprehensive manual, detailing how to get the best sounds from the plugin. Available as LV2, compatible with Ardour, Mixbus, Qtractor etc. linuxVST (64 and 32Bit) and JACK versions are currently in development and will be available soon as a free upgrade.

Update: The PEQ-2A V1.01 is now available - this includes 32 and 64Bit linuxVSTs and physical control weighting which adds physical properties to the UI to replicate the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality controls.

Compatible with Ardour2, Ardour3, energyXT, renoise, Harrison Mixbus, Qtractor.

Introductory price offer is only available through Feb 2012.
