This is nice for those of us who don't have the time to watch all the goings on. Thanks Jeremy!

Great work, thanks for your effort.
Perhaps you could add a Hardware section, about new drivers, new interfaces known to work, etc.

Nicely done. I'll post a notice about it in a column for LJ. Unfortunately they're backed up right now, I have three more articles already in the print queue, so it'll be a little while. By then you'll have a couple more editions out. :)

Best,

dp

Edit: One critical note: It isn't really an editorial, is it ? IIUC, an editorial is an opinioned discourse on a specific topic (see "define: editorial" in a Google search). You have some of that, but by far the greater part of the text is a list. I'd say it's more of a monthly "round up" than an editorial, but of course I'm judging only from your first post. I do suggest that you make more editorial comments, I think people will be interested in your (and others) opinions about the software listed.

Thanks!

Lilypond: is it worth it to mention the development versions? Otherwise I'll add 2.13.27 to the list.

MuseScore, I'll add 0.9.6.1 (2010-07-13)
Same for NtEd, I'll add 1.10.12 (2010-07-09)

I spoke to Robin from linuxaudio.org recently who happened to be in Amsterdam and he gave me access to the linuxaudio.org CMS so I can publish the next editorials on linuxaudio.org. So I don' t have to host it myself anymore. I'll keep you posted.
