[ANN] Konfyt Digital Keyboard Workstation v1.1.7

Post by noedig »

Konfyt 1.1.7 has been released!

Stretching the quarterly release cycle date a little bit. Not a lot new in this update, just a few fixes for bugs which most of the one or two (if any) users out there likely haven't even encountered. Now you won't ever have to.

Changelog:

Fixes

- Set QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION=none environment variable at startup to prevent
event loop from stopping when screen is locked on some systems which caused
some functionality like MIDI triggers and port reconnections to stop working.
- Fix .gig file loading.

The source code and precompiled binaries (under Releases) are available on Github:
https://github.com/noedigcode/konfyt

Konfyt is a digital keyboard workstation for Linux which allows you to set up patches, each with multiple layers, and instantly switch between these patches for live keyboard playing. Patches may consist of multiple layers of soundfonts (.sf2), SFZ instruments, audio input ports and MIDI output ports. Konfyt features a library for quick access to soundfont programs and SFZs.

Documentation can be found at Read the Docs:

Some more info, links to videos and news are available on the Konfyt website:

Hi,

I am using Konfyt with Mint 20.3 and an experimental pipewire setup. Is there an option to start Konfyt with the last used project or with a parameter for loading a given one?

You can provide the project file path as a command line argument.

konfyt --help
for more info.
