They require login to view.
This should not be the case and indeed I find I can view no problem with no login on desktop and mobile. I wonder why you can't? Does anybody else have this issue?
Note these videos are just a lecture with slides.. If you're looking for a video that shows e.g. the new connections graph there isn't one yet

yep, that's what I get if I connect thru a browser profile where I hold no account for Vimeo.
Note that when you "think" youtube or others don't ask for login that's usually because you're already "transparently" ID'ed since you've got some FB or Twit or Google or others, account or some mobile using something in the gafam globancy, so having an account in some profile for Vimeo is probably a less worse case n the end

Yeah, I don't have fears for creating vimeo account, but watching some stuff about bipscript did not qualify as valid reason for creating one more account to one more service
And sure, wanted to inform what is visibility so that author knows where (s)he is standing.

This is very interesting to me, as I had no idea Vimeo was demanding a login. Thank you guys for bringing it to my attention. Ironic because using Vimeo was indeed an attempt to avoid worse, but it seems no commercial actor is safe! lol also at the mature content warning
I fully agree these videos are not worth creating a login, they are hardly videos even, just slides with talking, luckily the Bordeaux LAC guys also posted on peertube:
