[ANN] Linux Music and Open Source stream!

Post by sadko4u »

Hi everybody!

I'm glad to announce a live stream on Youtube!

The subject: recording the electric guitar using the Libre software and Linux. I will explain my workflow, sweat with guitar in hands while recording the song and perform a conversation with viewers.

The date: January, 3rd, 00:00 MSK / January, 2nd, 21:00 UTC.

The URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxaNRyiHr2E

I think it is a good experiment which may yield to yet another one useful youtube channel.

You can write in comments what do you think and also what would you like to see on the stream.

All the best,
Vladimir

Very interesting video, I hope there will be some more, I enjoyed watching your workflow in recording and organizing your tracks, plus some neat tricks.
Maybe some videos focused on how you use your plugins? :D

in mix, nobody can hear your screen

I think I can continue streaming videos when producing this track.

Also I'm thinking on streaming some software development tricks. That was the original idea and that's why the channel was called 'Nightly Code'.

It was nice to see your workflow. (I turned out to be very similar to mine. Great minds think alike and all that...) ;-)

I was surprised you don't use tamgamp. I really like it and despite having other good amp sims (Line 6 HX Stomp, Mercuriall, AmpliTube), it is currently my favorite. But my music is not nearly as heavy...

Thanks for sharing!
