There are now some Beta versions of the linuxDSP parametric EQ in LV2 format on my website:
http://www.linuxdsp.co.uk
This is an experimental port of the jack client EQ to LV2 format, there are some known limitations. You will need a host that supports the LV2 externalUI extension for the GUI to work. If you don't have this you will just get the 'default' GUI provided by the host. Currently Ardour 2.8.3 is known to support this extension. This is an early Beta version so use at your own risk...

Re: linuxDSP LV2 Plugins
Thanks. Tested it on 2.8.3 in 64studio 3.0 and it works great.
Just a month to late though
I had a online colab going and it would have saved me a bit of effort...
Keep them coming!

Re: linuxDSP LV2 Plugins
Hey Mike,
I read on ardour.org that you're an experienced engineer with SSL and want to improve the Linux plugin landscape. Great!
Maybe you can give a workshop about writing plugins on LAC 2010!?!

Re: linuxDSP LV2 Plugins
I can't make any promises regarding LAC2010, you're right that I am genuinely interested in improving or more correctly 'broadening' the landscape for linux plugins (there are already many excellent LADSPA and LV2 plugins out there).
Just to clarify one or two other things:
I worked for many years as a hardware / software developer for SSL, until recently when regrettably they found themselves unable to continue employing as many engineers as they once had.
The linuxDSP plugins are in no way connected with SSL or endorsed by them in any way, however one might say that being fortunate enough to work for such a major pro-audio company provided valuable experience.
More plugins will be happening soon, since I can now devote more time to this (however this does very much depend on the level of financial support the project generates...)
