Guitarix 0.35.0 released

The Guitarix developers proudly present

Guitarix release 0.35.0

Guitarix is a tube amplifier simulation for
jack (Linux), with an additional mono and a stereo effect rack.
Guitarix includes a large list of plugins[*] and support LADSPA / LV2 plugs as well.

The guitarix engine is designed for LIVE usage, and feature ultra fast, glitch and click free, preset switching, full Midi and/or remote controllable (Web UI not included in the distributed tar ball).

This release introduce the new GUI design by Markus Schmidt aka. boomshop

Beside that, it comes with a couple of fixes and some new plugins.
Also included be the MOD UI's for the LV2 plugins used by the MOD[*]

Sadly, I stuck in build with --faust :

I suggest my faust installation is broken or dmth else.

Properly not, the --faust flag in guitarix configure is a plain developers flag, it's meant to try if a updated faust version works with the guitarix build scripts. The last known version which works with guitarix is faust-0.9.65.
guitarix build will use faust automatically when a usable faust version is found, otherwise we provide the pre-generated files, so no faust is needed to build guitarix.

I've just prepared our sources so that you could use now also faust-0.9.73 to regenerate the faust sources.
True, you've to build from git then.

Just made a quick try on Arch with Faust 0.9.73 from AUR, and it apparently has problems with the syntax:

Still you need to use python2.

This is a error message from python3

SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'

However, thanks for reporting, as this print stance is a relict from a debugging session which I've forgotten to remove, I've removed it now.
