LMMS 1.1 released

Postby diizy » Thu Dec 25, 2014 12:37 pm

Merry christmas from the LMMS team!

We've finally released the long-postponed 1.1 release which has all kinds of new stuff, including 3 new native synth instruments, and (still experimental) support for Carla 2 in either rack or patchbay mode!

Other new things include: fully modular FX mixer with channels that can be routed to each other as much as you want, updated ZynAddSubFx, automation live recording... and tons of bug fixes, small usability improvements and improvements to older effects and instruments.

LMMS 1.1 is available from all the usual places. KXStudio should already have the latest package (or will shortly, I'm sure), mainstream distros (Ubuntu etc.) probably won't get it for a while... source code is available from GitHub.

If you compile LMMS from source, make sure you checkout the stable-1.1 branch, not master.
