KXStudio in live settings.

Post by dednikko »

Hey all,

Just a heads up that my buddy and I have been using KXS live for DJing and tonight for running our live set.

He is wearing a NSFW shirt by the way. He's hilarious like that =)

Thanks for sharing the photos. They bring the stage-feeling into this blog.

We are using the following:
Ardour 3 for vocal I/o and processing as well as playback of backing tracks.
Drumkv1 stand-alone for samples drums and effects.
LMMS to host several instances of ZynADDSubFX since it has tempo aware arpeggiation.
Almost all of this is run from my dual core laptop. Not a single hiccup!

About fifty people attended, though the show was not advertised by is.

Yes shows coming soon!
