I think Sigur Ros is the best.

EDIT: I forgot, I have heard these guys before. They are icelandic. My brother likes them a lot. They play guitar with that bow and stuff eh? I think my bro saw them on Connan or something. Good sound. Very very good.

Ha, one of my friends recently was in a car wreck (totaled his car, but he's fine) and was listening to Sigur Ros when it happened: Don't drive on headphone music!

Current Rig: Dell Vostro 1520, Arch Linux, Novation Remote25SL, and my trusty guitar.

With regard to Sigur Ros - if you haven't seen it already you should check out their film "Heima". They did a series of free gigs around Iceland, mostly outdoors, and made this film about it. A really beautiful film, full of great music.

For those who like Tunng and Sigur Ros:
- The Album Leaf and its predecessor Tristeza. Jimmy Lavalle records all his stuff on Iceland so you know enough ;)
- The Mercury Program
- Maserati
- Tortoise
- Mogwai
- Do Make Say Think
- Godspeed You Black Emperor
- Broken Social Scene and all related projects (Arcade Fire, Stars, Amy Millan solo)
- We vs Death
