Can lofi music grow?
Hi guys! Do we have any fans of lofi here? Anyway, what do you guys think of lofi music? Do you think it can grow much further than just underground platforms? Let me know your opinion.

Hello @BillyHorton and welcome! Do you mean lo-fi rock or lo-fi hip-hop? I think the latter had a surge in popularity in the last few years.

Re: Can lofi music grow?
I think it's cyclical. It peaked in 2016-2020 and is fading back into obscurity now, but it'll be back, somehow. It's a sound that's been around for 30+ years and has had many peaks and valleys. Overall, though, I think this last surge of lo-fi was the biggest one to date, so maybe the next resurgence will be even bigger.
