Absolutely! I'm my biggest fan!

That's the whole reason I record. I want to have that music to listen to, and no one else is going to record it.

Sort of - I like to listen back to some of my work, but it's only a fraction of my total music listening.

Yes and no. If I'm writing a piece and I find I don't like it I'll stop writing. So if I complete a piece I probably like it. However there are occasions when I'm on a deadline and I have to finish the piece whether I like it or not.

No. The singer can't stay in tune.

Yes and no.

When i create a new track and send it to labels for releasing for sure!
I woudn't send it if i don't like it.

But when i create new tracks i like them more then the 'old' ones, just because om bit bored of hearing the previous ones.

But then again, when i was half year back at a anniversary of a big club and one of the dj's played a track of my first ep it was first time that i heard it on such soundsystem however i didn't enjoyed at moment because i was more focused on the dancingfloor capturing this moment ;-), but day after i enjoyed it very much, as much when i heard it first time at a (techno)radioshow at night before it was released.

I am am but listening to my ealier tracks, always makes me think I should mix them again ( better) , and tweak it a bit and so on.

There is potential in it, but now I also hear I hardly knew what I was doing. :)

When in the midst of recording them, I am very much a fan, to the degree that I can loose an ability to evaluate without bias. Listening again at a later time, can sometimes cause me to cringe at what I hear. I am my biggest critic too.

Sometimes. There are songs I've done I like, and others that didn't age well. In both cases, I need some distance from the recording process before I can appreciate them; otherwise I'm critiquing the mix & performance.

Yes.

I like to really get under the skin of anything I learn, so I listen to any YouTube recordings I can find including covers.

My test is if I get sick of the song. Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's good!

Aw yeah. There's that saying "you're an average of your 5 best friends." I think the same applies to your music being an average of your 5 favorite artists. Naturally that's a sound that I would enjoy

It's near impossible to create such a masterpiece which will never end enjoyning. Best way is to constantly improvise whatever gets into head, using recorder to occasionally sort what you have done. In anyway it's important to not think about it as way to prove self, or such delight would be fragile.

Yes! And you should be a fan too. (Of my music) Hahaha
But honestly, yes. I write and record songs that I’d like to be hearing but can’t seem to find.
