Extract MIDI markers

Post by d.healey »

Does anyone know a piece of software that can extract markers from a MIDI file to a text file. I just need a list of timestamps and names.

Basically I have a MIDI file containing markers exported from a pro-tools session and I want to import the markers into Ardour, but Ardour doesn't understand MIDI markers.

That does indeed look very good. I don't have a need for it right now, but there have been plenty of times when something like this would have made things a lot easier
