You can read mine, and listen to some of my work here. I'm new to sound cloud, I'm trying to decide on going with the pro-plan.
At my age I don't really need notoriety.

Just my thoughts on the pro-plan: For me and my purposes, its totally unnecessary. I make music because I love it, I post it in case some other people will love it and I do like to share my work, but I'm realistic that this is a hobby. Even people working full time on trying to make it as an artist will have a hard time and need a lot of luck to really make it. So I don't spend any time/money on that pursuit. I just make and share it with the free account. Its more than enough. Your needs/goals are probably different than mine though. (You can see my profile link in my signature).

I'm a 60 year old music tutor, and one of my students said to give soundcloud a try.
Also from seeing on here, so I'm trying it.
I guess i really don't need the pro plan. But it was a nice thought anyway.
I just want to share my music, with other people rather than just my family, friends and students.

Yeah, it's a nice site. Like Youtube without video and jerks. I just hope Google doesn't buy it and wreck it. :evil:

@Eino

I'm checking it out now, glad you set it up and that you have a more public place for your music, I had noticed you had some links buried in replies to other peoples posts and although you may not want notoriety I think anything worth sharing a link to is worth having your own place on the web... Love the Pachelbel Canon BTW!

See you on the cloud!

I discovered SoundCloud a few years back when looking for somewhere to share recordings that non-technical people could use. I've got by with the free version. I just remove some old tracks if I run low on space. They have done a good job on developing the site to make it easy to use and it's become a standard place to share your music.

There are 'groups' where you can share tracks, including this one

If I were making money from music then I'd get a pro plan. I'd also use http://bandcamp.com/, but that's more for 'finished' music that you want to sell or give away.
