how to convert sfi flies to wav

Hey guys, I got some sfi(riff) files that I need converted to wav files. How do I do that under linux?

I'm not sure, but perhaps SoX could be useful here?

tried SoX but it didn't work. couldn't figure out sfi file.

have you tried to import it in ardour ? Ardour uses libsndfile which can understand some Sound Forge format. Give it a try, you never know ... otherwise, before trying ardour, you can always try this from a terminal :

sndfile-info yourfile.sfi

provided that you have sndfile-info on your machine (I think it comes with the package sndfile-programs in debian based distros).
