Ubuntustudio-controls, Ubuntu Focal (20.04).
This wonderful piece of software AUTOMATICALLY configures it.
It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either. More importantly, it works, and survives reboots.
If you are having trouble with or cannot make this work, this works for me.
