USB soundcard with Jack - Ubuntustudio

My multi-year ordeal with Jack has ended. I have never understood it, and could not get a USB audio dongle to provide a secondary output for headphone use with Mixxx, until......

Ubuntustudio-controls, Ubuntu Focal (20.04).

This wonderful piece of software AUTOMATICALLY configures it.
It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either. More importantly, it works, and survives reboots.

If you are having trouble with or cannot make this work, this works for me.
