Modelling Acoustics with Open Source Software: The Series

Post by CrocoDuck »

Hey guys!

Maybe not exactly music, for now, but definitely Linux and definitely open source. Some time ago I started publishing articles on my Blog about modelling Acoustics with Open Source software. I haven't been very active for a long time there. Then I decided to move my Blog from Worpress to GitHub. While the move isn't really complete, I decided I would dedicate one day of the week to the my article series and/or the blog.

The articles are step by step tutorials on how to use open source software to model acoustics. At the moment they only cover very basic things, but step by step I should be able to get interesting things up there, and maybe I will generate some plugin from models using Faust.

For the time being, here my GitHub blog url: https://crocoduckoducks.github.io/

At this page you can find the up to date list of articles in the series: https://crocoduckoducks.github.io/model ... -software/

Hope you find it interesting!

Hey there! I moved the project to a snazzier website: https://computational-acoustics.gitlab.io/website/

The old links above should redirect, hopefully.

Cheers.
