Hi all,
since yesterday, Firefox has warned about connecting to this forum, indicating something about incorrect configurations.
Just thought I'd mention it..

Yeah, I'm getting the same warning here. UK, Chromium, Xubuntu 16.04. I'm browsing with the red line through the https bit in the address bar now.
Re: Firefox says forum is "incorrectly configured"
The precise error is:
This Connection is Untrusted
linuxmusicians.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
*.grus.uberspace.de, grus.uberspace.de
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Re: Firefox says forum is "incorrectly configured"
I am getting the same error. Is this a false warning, or is it something that really needs to be fixed?
Thanks.

To the admins of this site:
Can you please disable the encryption, if you can't fix the certificate domain name mismatch?
The way it is now it doesn't add any security (as the security certificate is unverified for this domain name, therefore wide open to MITM attacks), and it just gets people used to clicking away security warnings without reading them, i.e. it promotes unsafe behaviour.
Thanks.

Nice, I certainly didn't want to disclose my password to 3rd parties.
