Hello from a transplanted yank in the UK...
I got into Linux after my 3 month old Windows laptop fatally crashed, and I've never looked back. I use Ardour, Hydrogen, and lately have been attempting to use Jamin. I play in a funk/soul band and I'm trying to master some live recordings without much success yet (xrun city). I also hope to do some home recording. Next purchase will be a decent interface probably from Echo Audio. I've been meaning to do this for years, and were it not for Linux/ffado/ardour etc. might never have gotten around to it. Welcome to the forum. I'm trying to get moved over to Linux for all of my audio too. I just need a good 24-bit 96khz linux compatible interface.
