Greetings from Dublin, Ireland

Post by strandedoutput »

Hi all,

I've been a long time lurker on this forum so I decided to set up an account and contribute. My name is Shane from that little rock in the Atlantic called Ireland. I have gotten into the weeds a lot more lately when it comes to Linux music so I will likely be asking lots of questions in the near future!

I'm currently mucking around with JACK, Zynaddsubfx, Ardour, LMMS and a bunch of other things. I'm also learning guitar currently so I'm having some fun with Guitarix. I hope the mods don't mind a bit of self-promotion but I also host and edit a podcast called Linux Lads (https://linuxlads.com). I use a combination of Ardour for editing and Audacity for recording and post-processing.

Glad to meet you all and I hope to see around the forums!

Hello Shane, welcome! Very interesting podcast. If you play guitar, be sure to check out not only Guitarix but also FatFrog, SwankyAmp and tubeAmp.
