Hi all,
I was getting into audio a few years ago, discovered I was hard of hearing, and gave up. A few years later, during lockdown, I realised I could use audio to compensate for my deficit.
At the same time, I'm developing an interest in voiceover - I've built sound absorption panels, learned how to use Pulseeffects (mostly for live voice, like Discord), am pulling my hair out at PC fan noise peaking at 145Hz, right where I don't want it, and taken my first, tentative steps with Ardour. I haven't yet tried the other DAWs.
I'm looking for a beginner's guide to setting up a Linux based voiceover recording chain? Niche of a niche of a niche, I know....
Setting up for voice recording
