Hi, classical semi-trained pianist here. I'm migrating from ableton live because I was seduced by the power of jack, my main interests are live gigs and producing some of my own music. I'm not really new to linux but I was - and I am - only a light user. Now I'm on Ubuntu Studio 18.10 and Ardour.
