Hello linux musicians!
I am a guitarist from Amsterdam trying to find my way into digital music production as a hobby. Switched to Linux 5 years ago, have Ubuntu Studio on my laptop, which is soooooo cooool! I have also bought a ART USBmix interface and a 2nd hand Edirol keyboard. Got rid of my Line-6 stuff because the poor compatability.
My biggest challenge with digital music production is to get all the settings and connections right, to get any sound at all! Am I the only one with this problem?
Ik hope find and share solutions here.
Music is love,
Bas

Bedankt, een hoop info hier, en ik snap nog maar een klein deel van wat hier allemaal besproken wordt.42low wrote:Welkom bas! Je zal het naar je zin hebben hier vermoed ik.
To bad you dumped your line6 gear. Line 6 amps are known to be great for home recording. I can state that.
I had a line6 KB37 keyboard with guitar interface, nice equipment indeed, but poor support and no-go with Linux.
