I'm a Vocaloid fan since 2011. As I use a fully free GNU/Linux distro, I don't install Vocaloid or any other nonfree software.
Unfortunately UTAU is nonfree too, but I found ways to use UTAU voices with a free software called WORLD. I also use formant synthesizers such as eCantorix. At an anime convention, I did a VOCALOID/UTAU workshop, I also distributed copies of GNU/Linux which contains my free sofware replacement called lauloid.
Any Vocaloid fans here?

Re: Any Vocaloid fans here?
Hi,
I've recently come across the singing synthesis world, and I would like to be pointed to any working free software editor if there are any. I've compiled and installed jcadencii and it's dependencies from here: https://launchpad.net/~isengaara/%2Barc ... /utauloid/ But the vconnect-stand renderer is marked with "forbiden" red circle.
I've been trying to run the following utau http://www.mediafire.com/download/xvt1y ... itsuko.rar
Maybe someone can shed a light here. It's not terribly important though. I'm just curious.
THanks!
