This 6-minute video demonstrates a recent advance in 'lip syncing' a different language to a speech given on video. Actually, the person, as shown at the end, can remain silent and words can be made to appear as if they were said by that silent person. There are some good uses for this, for translation purposes, although there are darker aspects to this technology.

Faking images/pictures by e.g. Photoshop, faking humans by robots, faking love by sex puppets and so on.
It's just the next logical step!
I don't know how to say it in English, but my favorite saying in German is: Menschen sind das Krebsgeschwür am Arsch der Welt!

"Humans are the cancerous growth on the world's arse!"
I used to say humans are a virus on the planet. But cancer is probably more correct as most viruses prefer to keep their host alive. It's counterproductive to kill your host when that will simultaneously kill yourself.
AI has been around for a while to manipulate videos. Just search for Deepfake. This one with Dr Phil is pretty funny:

This is quite good but they have problem when an object passes in front of the face, as near the end with the hand.sunrat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 3:04 am AI has been around for a while to manipulate videos. With quantum computers at the corner, this technology can bring some surprises, especially if done in real time.
As for cancer/virus, yes, cancer is the proper analogy. Especially when one follows the notion that viruses are some sort of solvents that are produced very specifically by an organism is order to help healing. By 'specifically' I mean that in a person in good health a respiratory virus for instance will not infect the liver or the heart or any other organ in the same organism.

Re: Make anyone say anything on video
This is interesting, could this be used to make music video with some self made simple animation creature?
https://youtu.be/lLa9DUiJICk?t=224
And would that work with modifying video with single frame looping, without real animation?
