I'm saying that Michael Willis was looking for first hand experience from Italians, not a link to a propaganda site, which links to another site, which links to a PDF you didn't read.
Which I'd still would like to read, but no-one so far has replied anything, whereas in the news Italy is there.

I'd also like to know how they consider Sara Cunial. Let me guess ....

One of these bad things is the current epidemic.
And just because you don't understand the measures that are to be taken, that doesn't mean it isn't real and that you can just "think for yourself"

So behave like a responsible adult and behave responsibly and stop believing and spreading all this crap.

P.S.
the moon landing was real, earth is round, chem-trails is just water vapor
Here we go. "Responsible adult".

You know very well that the WHO is reporting 650 000 worldwide deaths due to the flu on a bad flu season. That's approx 4756 per week, 679 per day.

I all those years here I did not read a single outraged comment from you about all those deaths.

And you are bringing forth responsibility ?

You know, the WHO that you trust so well (and not the ones that were throwing TV sets out of their hotel room windows) :

"Up to 650 000 people die of respiratory diseases linked to seasonal flu each year"

Come to think of it, they might had a point in those times with their throwing of TV sets.

I think it's time to wind down this topic.

Indeed 'backstage' is meant as a place where we can post about things not directly related to creating music on Linux, but at 11 pages it's probably way past time to take this discussion somewhere else for those who want to continue it.

Thanks!

You tell me. At my age. Two grown kids now past university and working. FPGA programming and physics teacher.

And you tell me about life ?

Not that I know everything of course. Still learning. Always learning. Always a beginner.

And certainly not telling others what life is. But perhaps asking some questions so that an internal process can be engaged in individuals.

It's the process that counts.

And always be wary of people telling you what life is.

I find it very telling that with all of the links and sources presented here in this topic that all of the detractors refuse to directly investigate the information and intelligently address and reply to it. It is much easier to post detractions without ever looking into what is being presented, isn't it?

Bhilmers initial post after I post Corbett's new docu series on bill gates is a prime example of this.

He comes on here reads the titles of the parts of the series and assumes it is in praise of gates and in turn goes on his post such as...

Noahsark wrote: Sun May 24, 2020 4:51 pm Part 2 - Bill Gates' Plan to Vaccinate the World...Please pass this series around and share it far and wide; the future of the human species depends on knowing this information and knowledge!
Yes I agree, vaccines have saved billions of lives! Bill Gates has done an amazing job improving the lives of people in developing countries. He is a model citizen and I hope to be more like him!
This is simply one example of what is taking place here with all of the anti-conspiracy posters who are chiming in who falsely believe that when ever the word conspiracy is uttered that the word theory must follow. You are wrong and when it comes down to it - you will not even try to prove it wrong because in the end you know you can't.

All of you detractors have no idea what you are in support of and that you serve those who seek to enslave and destroy you through your own ignorance.

It really is a shame to see and deeply troubles me in this late hour...

It's obviously not about the quantity but rather the principle.

I'll take half a kilo of human rights please and 200g of freedom of expression please ?

Forum Posting Guidelines wrote:1) Be kind, courteous, and respectful in your posts. No trolling, flaming, or personal attacks...even during heated discussion. One cool thing about forums it that they're not completely real time. If you're mad, chill out a bit, then post. Keep in mind we are newbie a friendly community! Gently steer newbies the right direction, and leave discipline for repeat offenses to the moderators and admin. Absolutely no "RTFM" posts, although politely pointing the user to the relevant documentation is of course highly appreciated.

2) Keep it safe for work. No profanity in subject titles, please, and no excessive profanity in posts. Definitely no pornography, sexually explicit material, or hate posts. These will not be tolerated.

3) Search the forums before you post. While we are a newbie-friendly community, everyone is expected to do a quick search before they post a question, just to keep duplicate posts down.

4) When you do post, use descriptive subject titles. That will help people find your post and help you faster!

5) Respect Copyright. Be very aware of how works you post (audio, scores whatever) are licensed. It goes without saying that violation of licenses won't be tolerated.

6) Don't quote whole posts in your replies. Just keep to the relevant portions, please.

7) Have a great time discussing music and Linux!

So, did you check out if the official Italian government ISS numbers equates to what was advanced as a very low number of actual covid-19 deaths w/o any co-morbidity ?

To clarify: by "winding down" I mean stopping this discussion.

LinuxMusicians is a forum for discussing making music with Linux. While making a few posts digressing from that scope is absolutely fine, this is not the place for going into such detail.

Viewpoints inside and outside the mainstream are equally welcome (as you can see in this thread), and while some participants slipped here and there I was happy to see it was mostly a healthy and civil exchange.

However, it is offtopic, and I think it's high time to wrap it up.

Re: COVID-19

Post mortem ?

As in most medias in these pandemic times which affects the lives of at least 3.5 billion people, the covid-19 subject has focus. Within
LM there's a 'Backstage' section that can be used to politely and with respect discuss the topic during those times. And so it was used as I created the thread.

1) As the pandemic unfolds there were a significant number of respectful comments posted as well as discussions. From raboof himself, there was no objection to this.

2) Then on April 13th a first reply appeared by a specific participant that had an insulting tone. I referred to that post as: "Should we refer to this as a starting point down the thread ? Hopefully not."

3) Polite replies and discussions continued.

4) Then recently that same participant posted again with an insulting tone, to which another joined in.

5) This lead to winding down the thread. Instead of specifically addressing the issue with the insults while preserving the topic in these times of pandemic, no matter what polite and respectful points of view are expressed. Not to mention documentation and references provided thorough the thread.

One could, leisurely of course, suspect that there's some 'coaxing' being applied ?

No wrong intent here, only a brief observation, with an ending in the form of a question.

Cheers.

(BTW, the total sum now gathered is $350,000. Rocco Galatti is the lawyer and the action is done with Vaccine Choice Canada. The administrator of the fund, Jean-Jacques Crèvecoeur, is also creating an international movement and has several lawyers as well as scientists and doctors so far that are joining in to going against mandatory vaccination and also, the microchipping of individuals. The target starting fund is $1 million. JJC started out as a physicist. His thesis was on a specific aspect of chips for quantum computing. Since then he has branched in personal development and became intrigued with what happened with the 'made in WHO' pandemics and the mass psychology involved)
