Re: "Open Source" musicians
I guess i am, and our band is.
But what exactly is the definition of "Open source musician"?
So much free to download music on the internet. Even metallica once accepted downloading after resting against it up to court. Are they then "Open source musician"? Or must they clearly follow the totally "Open source" philosophy at full?

Re: "Open Source" musicians
And do you have to make your "source code" available to qualify? Or is it enough to make some of your recordings free as in beer?
I like to post tablature with all of my new recordings because I want other people to learn from and improve upon my music.
