Building a song in Hydrogen

Post by steevc »

Apologies if this already asked, but it seems you can't search here for 'hydrogen' as it's too common a word.

I'm making my first attempt at doing all the drums for a song. I've managed to make up a few patterns and have arranged an intro and a verse. It's not terribly complicated, but I'm wondering if there is a way to copy the verse instead of having to click all the boxes again. Alternatively, can you loop a section?

Thanks

Steve

Hello Steve, which version of Hydrogen are you using? And FWIW, Hydrogen is a really good sampler but a mediocre sequencer. You could try sequencing your patterns with a more powerful sequencer like seq24.

Change from 'Draw Mode' to 'Select Mode'. Then select the patterns you want to copy. Drag them to the new place while holding the [alt]-key (maybe [ctrl]).

Ah, didn't spot the Select/Draw mode option. Will try that later.

Should have RTFM
