First post... Need help getting setup for live performance

Can Hydrogen control an external MIDI device??? I installed it and can't see how to get it to send MIDI data out to my SPD-S sampler.

Yes, Hydrogen should be able to control an external MIDI device. Your SPD-S is connected to your computer? If so, in what way? As you can see in the attached screenshot there's a Hydrogen Midi-Out port in the ALSA tab of QjackCtl after starting up Hydrogen. You should be able to connect it to your MIDI device that is connected to your SPD-S. Hydrogen only sends out MIDI CC messages afaik.
